Walmart is an international store basically an American multinational retail corporation that drives a sustainable chain of hypermarkets, grocery stores and discounted departmental stores. The company founder is Mr. Sam Walton in the year 1962.

Till date April 30, 2019, Walmart has 11,368 stores and clubs in 27 other countries operating under 55 distinct names.

According to the fortune global 500 lists in 2018, Walmart is the world largest company with a revenue of over $500 billion along with the largest employee hiring of 2.2 million around the world. It is owned by the family and publicly traded business controlled by the Walton family.

With the help of the recent Walmart receipt, the company tracks the customers for the Walmart survey customers’ satisfaction. A small text at the top introduces the survey in the front. The back of the receipt is provided with instructions on how to take the survey and what the terms and conditions are required.

  • In the absence of a receipt, Walmart incentives the customers to take the survey in another way.
  • The company offers 755 individuals a chance to win a gift card.
  • Now 750 of these individuals are awarded $100 while the remaining lucky 5, win a $1000 gift card.
  • The winners are then selected on a quarterly cadence and only adults who are permanent residents of one of the 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico or District of Columbia are permitted to take the survey.

Labor relationship

More than 2.3 million employees work worldwide for Walmart. Company has undergone huge lawsuits and issues related to the employees. The issues were about low wages, more work, less promising, inadequate health care, poor working conditions, and anti-union policies.

Company pressurized workers not to get involved in social strikes on Black Friday and took legal actions against the ones who got engaged in strikes. There was an immediate statistic studied that there are around 70% of employees that quit the job within a span of one year.

Criticism

They faced opposition against companies’ policies, business practices, charges of racial and gender inequality, treatment of suppliers, employee compensation, working conditions and facilities, environmental issues, company’s security, etc. facing all these circumstances, company denies of doing anything wrong and maintains lower rates as a result of efficiency.

Walmart Contractors

Walmart is a potential supplier. Minimum expectations from the suppliers are:

  • Sustainable Relationship- Walmart strives to have a sustainable and win-win relationship with all the suppliers.
  • Product- Walmart is attentive on meeting the expectations of the members.
  • They provide quality products which fulfill the requirement of the members.
  • Private brand products fill the gap in the market.
  • Leading National and International brands are found in the store shelves.

Conclusion

There are always probabilities of engaging gift cards that encourage the shopping involvement to a whole new level. The highest number of ingress per person per access moment is 78. If you never obtain a prize in the first round, you will have more chances to win in the next month. Providing a gift card is less valuable than cash.
